Monarch at Dos Vientos caters to those seeking a more upscale living experience in the desirable Dos Vientos Ranch neighborhood. It features a resort-style pool and spa, an outdoor fireplace courtyard, a BBQ picnic area, and a stylish clubhouse. Apartments come with high-end finishes, including granite countertops, walk-in closets, roman tubs, and built-in desks. Each unit includes an in-unit washer and dryer and a private garage. Monarch is also pet-friendly and gated, providing added security and privacy.

The closest bus stop is located within a 10 minute walk at the Dos Vientos Community Center on Borchard Road. Thousand Oaks Transit services this stop. Other transportation in Thousand Oaks is LADOT and Metro 161.

Monarch Apartments is in the Conejo Valley School District.  Sycamore Canyon TK-8 is across the street from our Community.  California Lutheran University and California State Channel Islands are both within a 15 minute drive.

 Kimber Dog Park is the nearest dog park and is located at 153 S. Wendy Dr., only 1.7 miles from our community.

Yes, the nearest bike trail to Monarch Apartments is Powerline Trail that is 0.8 miles and another great one is Los Robles Trail that is located 8.1 miles from our community

Residents at Monarch shop at Trader Joes, Albertsons, Target and Thousand Oaks Mall. They also frequently shop at The Village Shopping Center which is located next door to our community.  Stop by the Trader Market for their famous in store deli and market.

The nearest coffee shop to community is Honey Cup which is approximately 1 minute away in the Village Shopping Center.  Starbucks is also located approximately 7 minutes from our community.

Amenities

Monarch at Dos Vientos offers a clubroom, pool/spa, outdoor BBQ area for cooking and dining, an outdoor fireplace seating area and garages.

Monarch at Dos Vientos does not have any weight or breed restrictions for pets. We allow two pets per apartment.

No, we do not offer furnished apartment homes.

Please speak with your onsite leasing office for a referral to a local furniture rental service.

No, leases may be in the name of the individual occupying the home. We do not allow sub-leasing at our communities.

No, we do not offer package concierge services.

Our pools and decks are open everyday from 8AM - 5PM.

Yes,  we offer parking on-site.

Each unit has its own full size washer and dryer.

Yes, Monarch at Dos Vientos is a pet friendly community.

The pet security deposit is $500 each pet, with a maximum of two pets.

No, there is not a pet park on-site. 

Standard appliances in our apartment homes include full sized washer/dryer set, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and gas oven/stove.

We offer offer short-term leases at Monarch at Dos Vientos. You may discuss options with our leasing team. 

Our fitness center is open everyday from 8AM - 10PM.

We provide cardio and weight training equipment  in our on-site fitness center. 

Quiet hours are 10PM - 8AM, contact office for fees for specific areas and dates.

No. We would be pleased to offer in person tours of our community during regular office hours.

Applications are often approved in 72-hrs. Please carefully review the rental criteria, which is available as part of your application, to avoid any delays in processing your application.

We require a holding deposit of $250 and an application of $60 per application when applying for your new home. You will pay the remaining balance of your security deposit and first month's rent, or a prorated portion, at the time of move in.

Rent may be paid online through your Resident Portal or directly to the leasing office. We also offer flexible payments through our partnership with Flex. Please speak with your onsite leasing team for additional information.

Yes! Rent may be paid online through your Resident Portal. You may make one time payments or set up recurring payments within the payment portal.

Yes, renter's liability insurance is required.

No, utilities are paid separately from your rent.

Yes, our community offers a resident referral fee. Your on-site leasing office will provide more details.

No, we do not allow subletting at our community.

You may elect to pay a lease break fee equal to one month of rent or you will be responsible for the remaining months of rent left on your lease agreement.

Our leasing office is open Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM and Saturday 10AM - 5PM.  You may walk in or schedule an appointment online via our website.

Rent payments received after the due date will incur a late fee of $75.00. We encourage all tenants to submit payments on time to avoid additional charges.

If a payment is returned due to insufficient funds, a $25.00 Non-Sufficient Funds fee will apply. Please ensure your account has adequate funds before submitting your payment.

Rentable items and pets incur additional fees.

Please contact Gas Company at 1-877-238-0092 or www.socalgas.com to set up gas service.  Southern California Edison at 1-800-655-4555 or www.sce.com to set up electric service.

Spectrum is the provider for internet and cable who can be reached at 1-888-406-7063 or ww.spectrum.com.

Monarch at Dos Vientos allows guests up to 14 days out of the month. If you will be accommodating more than 2 guests, please inform the on-site team for approval.  We do have a limit of two guests per household when visiting the community amenities with your presence.

We do not offer rental price reductions on longer leases at Arroyo Villa. You may not pay rent for a year in advance to secure your unit. 

Maintenance

Your new home will be professionally inspected and prepared by one of our onsite maintenance associates. Our standard practices include ensuring all areas of your new home are clean and functional.
 

Yes, we do have on-site maintenance.

Work orders may be submitted online through your Resident Portal.

Maintenance work orders are completed by one of our experienced onsite maintenance team members.

No. You may provide permission for us to enter when you submit your work order through your Resident Portal or by speaking with one of our onsite team members.

The onsite leasing office is able to assist during regular office hours. We do not provide after-hours lock out services.

You may customize your home with non-permanent decorations. Any modifications you make to your home during your residency may incur a charge at the time of move out. Charges are incurred when maintenance is needed to return your home to its original condition at the time of move in.

Our address is 255 Via Mirabella, Newbury Park, CA 91320 which is conveniently located in the premier Dos Vientos Community, take either Lynn Road turn right on Via Las Brisas and right on Via Rio or Borchard turn left on Via Las Brisas and left on Via Rio, then take a left on Via Rio and you have arrived.
